This dressing is a wonderful stand-in for regular Ranch without the dairy and much less fat. It is fast and easy to make and well-received by anyone who likes Ranch-style dressings. You can serve it with confidence to company who aren’t into a plant-based diet.
Ingredients
- 1/2 pkg MoriNu Tofu, firm
- 1/2 cup Vegenaise
- 2-3 tbsp almond milk, original
Seasoning Option 1
- 2 teas (1/3 pkg) Uncle Dan's "Classic Ranch" Dressing Mix
Seasoning Option 2
- 1/2 teas salt (rounded), sweetener, nutritional yeast flakes
- 1/4 teas onion powder
- 1/8 teas garlic powder & celery salt
- 1/8 teas dried marjoram, dill weed & basil
Final Addition
- 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine first three ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
- Add seasoning option 1 or 2 and blend only to mix.
- Last, add the lemon juice according to taste. Chill and serve.
Recipe Notes
Because of the tofu, this dressing is perishable, so keep refrigerated. It should have a shelf life of 7-10 day.
