Easy Ranch-style Dressing

This dressing is a wonderful stand-in for regular Ranch without the dairy and much less fat.  It is fast and easy to make and well-received by anyone who likes Ranch-style dressings.  You can serve it with confidence to company who aren’t into a plant-based diet.

Ingredients
  • 1/2 pkg MoriNu Tofu, firm
  • 1/2 cup Vegenaise
  • 2-3 tbsp almond milk, original
Seasoning Option 1
  • 2 teas (1/3 pkg) Uncle Dan's "Classic Ranch" Dressing Mix
Seasoning Option 2
  • 1/2 teas salt (rounded), sweetener, nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/4 teas onion powder
  • 1/8 teas garlic powder & celery salt
  • 1/8 teas dried marjoram, dill weed & basil
Final Addition
  • 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
Instructions
  1. Combine first three ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Add seasoning option 1 or 2 and blend only to mix.
  3. Last, add the lemon juice according to taste. Chill and serve.
Recipe Notes

Because of the tofu, this dressing is perishable, so keep refrigerated.  It should have a shelf life of 7-10 day.
