Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 Tbsp McKay's Chicken-style Seas. Vegan --or see menu to make your own
- 1 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 tsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp salt, opt.

- 2 cups hot water
- 1/2 pkg Gimme Lean Breakfast Sausage --or vegan sausage of your choice
Instructions
- COMBINE first group of ingredients in blender and WHIZ until smooth. POUR into 2-qt. kettle.
- POUR hot water into blender, blending briefly to release any remaining sauce. ADD to kettle. COOK and STIR over medium heat until thickened.
- CRUMBLE sausage, ADD to sauce, and HEAT through.
- SERVE over biscuits or whole-grain toast.
